AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire last night at the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in different areas of Nablus and Jenin, with no reported injuries.
According to local sources, resistance fighters opened fire twice at Israeli troops after they stormed the eastern area of Nablus City to provide protection for settlers, who flocked to the area to perform rituals at Joseph’s Tomb.
Soon later, violent clashes broke out in the area with local youths, who blocked roads and hurled stones at the IOF.
Several young men and one journalist were injured by rubber bullets during the events.
Other resistance fighters opened fire at the IOF near Balata refugee camp in eastern Nablus.
Resistance fighters also detonated explosive devices during armed clashes with the IOF near al-Hisba area in Nablus.
In southern Nablus, Palestinian young men threw Molotov cocktails at a tent inside the illegal settlement of Yitzhar.
In Jenin, the IOF came under fire during raids in different areas of the city.
Local sources said that resistance fighters opened fire five times at Israeli soldiers near an-Nasera street and at the junction of al-Hamama in the industrial zone of the city.
One young man identified as Baha Abu Issa suffered a bullet injury in his back during the armed clashes in Jenin and was rushed to Jenin Hospital.
None of the Israeli soldiers was reportedly injured in the shooting incidents in Nablus and Jenin.
Meanwhile, the IOF kidnaped at dawn Wednesday three Palestinian young men during campaigns in Jenin and Tulkarem.
